Sketchbook Tour Jan - Feb ‘25

The first months of the 2025 have mainly been spent doing a bit of creative experimentation and building up my portfolio. Its been a really lovely start to the year, I haven’t kept a sketchbook like this in a long time and its been so helpful to my creative process, giving me lots of fresh ideas that I really needed. Towards the end of last year, I felt I wasn’t really in touch with my creativity, I was putting a lot of energy into boring businessy things which was just weighing me down and burning me out.

Start of this year I have been focusing on finding inspiration and connecting with my creativity again.

The sketchbook doesn’t have a particular theme - just a bit of a brain dump, having a wee explore of whats in my head and doing a bit of experimenting with paper, shape and colour. I also had fun incorporating the new papers I made - more about that here - exploring how this could become a part of my work.

I hope I can continue to work on my sketchbooks throughout the year, I haven’t felt this excited about the potentials of what I can make in a long time.
